Gabriel "Gabe" Russell Henze,7, of Winnebago, IL. named after the angel Gabriele, completed his role in life and joined the other angels on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 after a sudden illness. Selfless, caring ,loving, sweet, kind, funny just a few words to describe Gabe. He was a student at Dorothy Simon Elementary School, in Winnebago, Il. where he was accepted and liked by everyone. On a perfect day he would wake up to Nutella and toast (chocolate toast) and a glass of milk, put on his favorite pokemon or minecraft t-shirt, and challenge himself to...

Gabriel "Gabe" Russell Henze,7, of Winnebago, IL. named after the angel Gabriele, completed his role in life and joined the other angels on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 after a sudden illness. Selfless, caring ,loving, sweet, kind, funny just a few words to describe Gabe. He was a student at Dorothy Simon Elementary School, in Winnebago, Il. where he was accepted and liked by everyone. On a perfect day he would wake up to Nutella and toast (chocolate toast) and a glass of milk, put on his favorite pokemon or minecraft t-shirt, and challenge himself to the highest levels of minecraft, play outside or spend time with family and friends, go four wheeling, woodworking, attend camp where he embraced every activity with joy and enthusiasm. Gabe was born August 20, 2009 in Rockford, IL. to Timothy R. Henze and Cameo E. Severson. Gabe was the piece of the puzzle that completed our family, our hearts are heavy but the joy in his memories will sustain us. In honor of Gabe where something red, pokemon or minecraft.

Survived by parents, Timothy (Michelle Geordt) Henze and Cameo Severson; sister, Marnaiya Henze; grandparents, Donald (Denise) Roberts, Tina (Tommy Segalla) Severson and Michael (Julia) Hilstad; great-grandma, Yvonne Cuthbertson; babysitting buddy, uncle Gary Roberts; many friends. Predeceased by great-grandfather, Corky Cuthbertson.
