Claudina Fay Maynard, 83, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016 in Arkansas while visiting with family. Born May 23, 1933 to Austin and Bertha Binkley Craig. A life well celebrated, Claudina enjoyed simple pleasures in life, sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee, visting with the neighbors or tending to her garden and sharing the fruits of her labor with family and friends. Her grandchildren would all agree she made the best fried chicken and buttermilk pancakes. She showcased her talents in sewing, creating dresses, doll clothes and mending. A life well celebrated, Claudina enjoyed simple pleasures in life, sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee, visting with the neighbors or tending to her garden and sharing the fruits of her labor with family and friends. Her grandchildren would all agree she made the best fried chicken and buttermilk pancakes. She showcased her talents in sewing, creating dresses, doll clothes and mending. She found comfort surrounded by her family and dog, Ranger.

Survivors include daughter, Tracey (Garry) Baker; sons, Jeffery Bargar and Timothy "Scott" Maynard; grandchildren, James (Sidney) Baker, Austin Baker, Amber Maynard, McKaylynn Maynard, James Thomas Maynard and Braeden Maynard; four great-grandchildren; dear friend, Patty Sue Bass; lifelong friend and caregiver, Mary Goodwin.

Predeceased by parents; husbands, John Bargar and James Maynard; brother, William Craig; sister, Austina Craig Stringer; grandson, Cody Maynard; and cherished friend, Lucy Jean Glovier.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, Visitation 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Express condolences, www.sunsetfhmemgardens.com
